Samuel Hale Names Director of Strategic Partnerships

Samuel Hale LLC named Pollie Pent as its new director of strategic partnerships for the company's Staffing Agency Workers' Compensation Division.

Pent served as a patrol officer for the City of Ione. She has also worked as an investigator for county prosecutors and as a detective for the California Department of Insurance.

Pent’s work at the Department of Insurance saw her investigating workers' compensation fraud, specifically in the staffing industry and among professional employment organizations.

The experience gives Pent a deep understanding of the California temp staffing industry, the PEO marketplace and the implications of fraud in the industry, Samuel Hale said in a statement.

The company said fraud deterrence will be particularly important for controlling workers' compensation insurance rates during the current pandemic and the resulting economic fallout, which is projected to have a significant impact on future rates.
