Bill Would Require Electronic Filing of Medical Bills, Payment Within 60 Days

A bill that would require health care providers or their electronic billing vendors to submit electronic bills for worker’s compensation claims is halfway home in New Jersey. Assembly Bill 3401 was sent to the New Jersey Senate Labor Committee 12 days ago after passing the Assembly 63-5 on June 30.
