A bill that would require health care providers or their electronic billing vendors to submit electronic bills for worker’s compensation claims is halfway home in New Jersey.
Assembly Bill 3401 was sent to the New Jersey Senate Labor Committee 12 days ago after passing the Assembly 63-5 on June 30.
The bill would require health care providers to submit medical bills on standardized forms, and would require all parties to keep confidential the electronically submitted medical information.
