The California Assembly unanimously passed a bill that would allow county park rangers to receive salary continuation benefits in lieu of temporary disability.
The Assembly on Thursday voted 80-0 to pass SB 1058. The bill, by Sen. Angelique Ashby, D-Sacramento, would declare that park rangers working for counties and special districts are eligible for benefits under Labor Code Section 4850.
