Employers Holdings reported net income of $24.5 million in the third quarter, more than double the $15.2 million reported for the same period last year.
Operating income during the quarter ending Sept. 30, 2015, was $20.6 million.
The Reno, Nevada-based carrier reported gross written premiums of $166.5 million, a 1% gain from $164.2 million in the third quarter of 2014.
