DWC Gives Few Details on Plans to Combat Coronavirus After Postponing Conference

California’s Division of Workers’ Compensation on Thursday announced that its annual Educational Conference planned for later this month in Los Angeles will be postponed after Gov. Gavin Newsom called for the cancellation of large events in response to the COVID-19 virus. But as sports leagues, colleges and even Disneyland announced plans to help stem the spread of coronavirus, the DWC offered almost no details on how it will try to keep judges, attorneys and members of the public safe.
