All UROs Audited in 2020 Receive Passing Scores

Five utilization review organizations passed their 2020 audits, including Risico Total Managed Care Inc., which aced the review, according to results posted to the California Division of Workers’ Compensation website. Final scores for the utilization review organizations that were reviewed this year ranged from the perfect 100% notched by Risico to a low of 94.9%. A score of 85% or better is considered passing, and the DWC waives most penalties for UROs that pass the audit.
