DOL Investigation Finds $18.3M in Unpaid Overtime at Halliburton

Oil and gas company Halliburton has agreed to pay $18.3 million in overtime wages to 1,016 employees, after an investigation by the U.S. Department of Labor found the workers had been incorrectly categorized as exempt. The department’s Wage and Hour Division found that Halliburton incorrectly categorized employees in 28 positions as exempt from overtime, according to a Tuesday news release from the Labor Department.
