American International Group has created a new role to oversee corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions and communications.
Brian Schreiber, formerly the company's deputy chief investment officer, will take over the newly-created role of executive vice president and chief strategy officer, according to a Wednesday press release. Schreiber has worked for the company for 18 years, including time spent as its treasurer and head of strategic planning.
