The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation late last week restarted some types of in-person medical exams, sending a cheer through a comp community that has felt stymied by the virus restrictions.
“It's great news,” said D.C. Campbell, former research director at the DWC, now vice president at Injury Management Organization.
The move means designated doctor exams and required medical exams, which review maximum medical improvement and impairment ratings, can once again be scheduled, starting Monday.
