Stratose Acquires HFN PPO Network, Expands in Midwest

Stratose, a medical cost-containment provider, has acquired HFN, Inc., which it called "the largest, independently owned PPO network in Illinois." Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.HFN, based in Oakbrook, Ill., operates a preferred provider network that includes clients and providers in Illinois, Northwest Indiana, Wisconsin, St. Louis and Eastern Iowa, Stratose said in a press release.
