Ametros Launches Mobile App for Managing Settlement Funds

Ametros has introduced a mobile app to help injured workers manage their medical funds and Medicare set-asides after settlement.

The CareGuard mobile app is an addition to Ametros’ CareGuard professional administration service. 

Through CareGuard, Ametros sets up a custodial bank account for an injured worker’s medical settlement funds and helps them with ongoing medical needs, including reviewing their bills, applying network discounts, paying the bills on their behalf, and handling all required Medicare reporting.

The new CareGuard Mobile App gives injured workers secure access to their billing and account information from a mobile phone or other device. The app allows users to access a digital member card, see real-time account balance, view savings from Ametros’ network discounts, track spending trends and view detailed transaction history.

CareGuard members have been able to access their accounts via a website portal and the new app provides additional convenience, the company said.
