Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt appointed Stefan Wenzel to serve as the director of the Multiple Injury Trust Fund for a term beginning June 16.
Wenzel will replace Richard Cole. The appointment notice filed with the Secretary of State on Wednesday says Cole resigned.
Nondoc.com, a nonprofit digital news site, claims it reviewed text messages from an unidentified administration official who said Cole was fired on Monday.
