The amount that an Oregon employer can reimburse an insurance carrier to keep medical costs from being included in its experience rating will increase $100 to $1,900 in 2015, the Workers Compensation Division announced.
If an injury is not disabling, employers can reimburse carriers for medical costs up to that amount to avoid possible premium increases and higher experience rating modifications, or “ER Mods” as they’re called in the Beaver State.
