New BWC Program Gets Injured Workers into Jobs

A multi-agency partnership is helping injured workers get back into the workforce with a program that would essentially place people into jobs available through a government-run job board.  The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, along with the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, announced this week an OhioMeansJobs Program, which analyzes what injuries a worker might have sustained in the past and then directs them to resources that would help place them into different roles.
