NCCI Files New Experience Rating Plan

The National Council on Compensation Insurance filed a proposed Texas-specific experience rating plan. NCCI said the new edition of its Experience Rating Plan Manual for Workers’ Compensation and Employers Liability Insurance will improve structure and format, remove ambiguity and clarify state-specific exemptions. NCCI is proposing the plan take effect for policies incepting on or after July 1, 2025. The Department of Insurance is accepting comments on the filing through Oct. 21.
