Guidewire Software announced Thursday that it has reached an agreement to purchase FirstBest Systems, which develops underwriting management systems for property and casualty insurers.
The deal is expected to close in about four weeks, Guidewire said. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but Guidewire said it does not expect the acquisition to impact its fiscal year 2017 financial results.
