The Fraud Assessment Commission in September will decide on the surcharge California employers will have to pay next year to finance prosecutors throughout the state.
The commission is scheduled to discuss an overview of workers’ compensation programs during a Sept. 2 meeting. One week later, on Sept. 9, the commission is slated to discuss and determine and aggregate fraud assessment for 2021.
The agenda for the Sept. 9 meeting does not include information about what the assessment could be for the next year.
