United Fire Group, a property and casualty insurance carrier that writes commercial lines including workers' compensation, has appointed a new chief financial officer.
Dawn Jaffray will step into the role on April 27, according to a Monday press release. Jaffray has more than 27 years of experience, including time spent as a senior finance officer for CNA Insurance, Progressive Insurance and Dominion Insurance. Her most recent position was serving as chief financial officer of the consultancy firm Soleil Advisory Group.
