Mystery Surrounds Senate Subcommittee Meeting With Arbitrators

Five attorneys named to serve as workers’ compensation arbitrators in Illinois went through an unusual step on Friday: an appearance before the state Senate Judiciary subcommittee on tort reform. Gov. Bruce Rauner announced the appointments of the new arbitrators to the Workers’ Compensation Commission in September.
