The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation posted new medical fee conversion factors that grant a 1.4% increase in reimbursement for most physician services in 2021.
The conversion factors are required by state law for non-network and approved out-of-network medical services. The annual updates are based on the Medicare Economic Index, a weighted average of price changes for physician services, the DWC explained in a bulletin posted Wednesday.
