Third Quarter Net Income Up at Old Republic

Old Republic International Corp. has reported third-quarter net income of $126 million, up 46.7% from $85.8 million in the third quarter of 2014. For the first nine months of 2015, the company’s net income was $331 million, a decrease of 4.3% from $346 million in the same period last year. The General Insurance Group’s net premiums earned in the third quarter were $744 million, up 5.4% from $706 million in the third quarter of 2014.
