NCCI Proposes Changes to Oil, Gas Industry Code Descriptions

The Texas Department of Insurance is accepting comments through May 13 on changes that the National Council on Compensation Insurance is proposing that would add flow-back services and drill site preparation to class code descriptions for the oil and gas industry. NCCI proposed that the changes in Item B-1438 — “Revisions to Basic Manual Classifications for Oil and Gas Field Operations — take effect July 1.
