Oregon’s Department of Consumer and Business Services adopted temporary rules with updated cause of injury codes to track reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine.
The emergency rule adopts the latest edition of the Statistical Plan for Workers’ Compensation and Employer Liability Insurance from the National Council on Compensation Insurance. The department said the temporary rule will be in effect from June 18 through Dec. 14 and will apply to claims with an accident date on or after Dec. 1, 2020.
