Health care providers are lobbying New Jersey lawmakers to add exceptions to a bill that would mandate that physicians submit workers’ compensation bills electronically.
Assembly Bill 3401 passed 63-5 in the Assembly six weeks ago. The measure would require providers or their electronic billing vendors to submit medical claims electronically and would mandate that employers, insurers or their third-party administrators accept those e-claims.
