Senate Gives Final Nod to Bill Imposing Employer Penalties

The Indiana state Senate gave final approval Tuesday to a bill that imposes penalties on employers who fail to timely pay workers’ compensation benefits. The Senate voted 49-0 to concur with amendments adopted by the House of Representatives to Senate Bill 290, by Sen. Jon Ford, R-Terre Haute.
