Puckett Departs DWC After 19 Years; Leaves Unique Safety Programs to D'Amura

Friday was the last day at the Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation for the woman who has been credited with launching a number of programs designed to reduce workplace injuries. After 19 years at the division and almost a decade as director of the workplace safety program, Karen Puckett has been named director of the Center for Environmental Excellence at the University of Texas-Arlington.
