The ability of employers to opt out of state workers’ compensation systems will be the subject of two panel discussions during the Workers’ Compensation Research Institute annual conference next month.
The conference will take place on March 10 and 11 at the Westin Copley Place Hotel in Boston.
The first session will give an overview of how opt-out arrangements work. The panelists will be Trey Gillespie, senior workers’ compensation director for the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America, and Bill Minick, president of PartnerSource.
