The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced on Tuesday that it is launching a pilot enforcement program for employers that are repeat violators of whistleblower protection laws.
The new Whistleblower Severe Violator Enforcement Program is modeled after other OSHA programs that target repeat offenders of workplace safety regulations.
The new program will target employers in the Midwestern states of Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska.
