A disbarred claimants' attorney in Memphis has pleaded guilty to defrauding clients by settling cases without their knowledge and forging their signatures on settlement checks.
Michael Constantine Skouteris, 50, was indicted in August 2019 after prosecutors charged that he had fraudulently obtained more than $600,000, the U.S. Attorney's office said last week.
