Dentists Insurance to Buy Two Insurers and Agency From Moda Health

The Dentists Insurance Co. has entered into an agreement to purchase two property and casualty insurance companies, and an insurance agency from Portland, Ore.-based Moda Health. The purchase of Dentists Benefits Insurance Co., Dentists Benefits Corp. and Northwest Dentists Insurance Co. will allow Sacramento-based Dentists Insurance Co. to start selling workers’ compensation and other lines of insurance Alaska, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Washington and Idaho.
