Legislation that sets rules for calculating impairment resulting from occupational breast cancer has been passed by the California Assembly Insurance Committee.
Assembly Bill 479, by Assembly members Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher, D-San Diego, and Cristina Garcia, D-Bell Gardens, passed on an 11-0 vote Wednesday. It has been referred to the Appropriations Committee.
