Committee Passes Bill on Breast Cancer Impairment Rating

Legislation that sets rules for calculating impairment resulting from occupational breast cancer has been passed by the California Assembly Insurance Committee. Assembly Bill 479, by Assembly members Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher, D-San Diego, and Cristina Garcia, D-Bell Gardens, passed on an 11-0 vote Wednesday. It has been referred to the Appropriations Committee.
