Old Republic International Corp. has reported second-quarter net income of $101 million, a decrease of less than 1% from $102 million in the second quarter of 2015.
For the six months ending June 30, Old Republic’s net income was $224 million, up 9% from $205.5 million in the first half of 2015, according to financial results released on Thursday.
Old Republic’s General Insurance Group reported $742 million in net premiums earned in the second quarter, up 4.6% from $709 million in the prior-year quarter. Net premiums grew 3.4% to $1.46 billion in the first half of 2016.
