An Ohio claimant will serve six months' probation and pay $8,399.74 in restitution after he was convicted on a misdemeanor workers' compensation fraud charge last week, the state Bureau of Workers' Compensation's Special Investigations Unit said Friday.
Timothy Morrow of Delaware, Ohio, pleaded guilty to the first-degree misdemeanor charge Oct. 20 in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. The BWC said Morrow ran a heating, ventilation and air-conditioning business called TTM Mechanical while receiving temporary disability benefits.
