Senator Considering Whether to Propose Allowing All Carriers to Pay Benefits by Debit Card

California will take baby steps toward the use of debit cards to pay workers' compensation benefits, but might expand their use later once it is shown that injured workers' won't be stuck with exorbitant fees, the chairman of the senate's labor committee said.
