JUA Revising Agent Agreements

The Florida Workers' Compensation Joint Underwriting Association (FWCJUA) Producer Committee is scheduled to meet Monday to discuss changes to its agreement with producers.The state-run residual carrier said in a meeting notice the committee is reviewing a proposal that would allow a one-time authorization of insurance agencies with a perpetual agreement.The panel said FWCJUA's staff would continue to confirm each agency's errors-and-omissions coverage and state licenses on an annual basis.Both the agreement and a revised manual issued to producers would require approval of the Flo...
