Amerisafe Sees 37% Net Income Growth in Q4

Net income at Amerisafe Inc. surged 36.8% in the final quarter of 2015, and the company ended the year with a 31.3% increase in net income. Amerisafe reported fourth-quarter net income of $23.1 million, compared to $16.9 million in the prior-year quarter. For full year 2015, net income was $70.5 million, up from $53.7 million in 2014. Net premiums earned were $95 million in the fourth quarter, down 2.1% from $97.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2014.
