California Gov. Gavin Newsom enacted bills that will expand and extend the existing post-traumatic stress disorder presumption and require contractors to include the classification codes they used to secure work comp coverage when applying for a license. At the same time, the governor vetoed a bill that would have excluded time spent resolving medical treatment disputes from the aggregate cap on temporary disability benefits.
