Legislation that proponents say would lead to faster identification of secondary payers who might be owed money during the workers’ comp settlement process could soon be introduced in Congress.
The potential legislation, called the Provide Accurate Information Directly Act, or PAID Act, is being promoted by the Medicare Advocacy Recovery Coalition, or MARC.
