The Iowa Supreme Court on Friday suspended the license of a Des Moines-area sole practitioner with a long history of discipline involving the mishandling of two workers’ compensation matters.
The court imposed an indefinite suspension on attorney Joel E. Fenton, with no possibility for reinstatement for 90 days.
Fenton received his Iowa law license in 1996. He was placed on a disability suspension in 2002 due to issues with chronic anxiety and depression.
