Crawford & Co.’s net income surged 163% in the first quarter, hitting $8.63 million compared to $3.28 million in the prior year quarter. The company’s Broadspire segment, a third-party administrator, saw revenues before reimbursements reach $76.2 million in the first quarter, up from $69.7 million in the first quarter of 2015.
