The Florida Division of Administrative Hearings will likely have to postpone for a few days its publication of new rules governing the nomination of workers' compensation judges, thanks to the volume of public comments received from one interested party, the chief judge said.
The division had planned to publish the nominating procedures by April 20, but after extensive comments were filed by the lawyer for a former judge, it may not happen until Wednesday, said Robert Cohen, director of the division and chief workers' compensation judge for the state.
