WCD to Review Workers' Benefit Fund Payroll Deduction Rules

The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division is holding a hearing on Aug. 9 to discuss, among other things, how to handle fractions of cents when calculating Workers’ Benefit Fund payroll deductions. Current rules provide no direction on how to deal with anything other than whole cents when calculating the deductions, the agency said. The WCD said it will accept other agenda topics related to the WBF assessment if submitted through July 30.
