Great American Insurance Rolls Out Coverage for Administering Naloxone

In another sign of the widespread impact of the national opioid epidemic, Great American Insurance Group has begun offering a professional liability endorsement to cover the administration of naloxone, a drug used to reverse opioid overdose. The endorsement, offered through the company’s Specialty Human Services Division, is designed to protect organizations that may incidentally encounter a heroin or other opioid overdose situation.
