The Alaska Workers' Compensation Division is holding a public meeting Dec. 10 to discuss adopting of the 2024 update to impairment rating guides.
Alaska law mandates permanent impairment ratings be assigned based on criteria in the American Medical Association's Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment. State law also requires adopting the most recent edition of the AMA guides within 90 days.
