The U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania has charged a doctor and his receptionist with running pill mills designed to deliver narcotics to patients without proper medical examination.
U.S. Attorney Zane David Memeger charged William O'Brien III and his receptionist Angela Rongione each with one count of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, according to a Thursday press release. O'Brien faces another 26 counts of illegally distributing oxycodone and Xanax without a legitimate medical purpose.
