After an uproar last month over the chief judge's unprecedented actions at the Texas State Office of Administrative Hearings, her opponents were hoping for a quick resolution, or at least some indication from the governor about her future.
Critics have called for Judge Lesli Ginn's dismissal, charging that she inappropriately pressured an administrative law judge to resign on a pretext, but really because he had ruled against a state agency.
But even though Ginn's two-year term expired May 1, she remains on the bench, continuing to oversee appeals of workers' compensation...
