The head of the Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has been named president of the Southern Association of Workers’ Compensation Administrators.
Abbie Hudgens will serve as president for one year at SAWCA, an association of 19 states from the South, as far north as Maine and as far west as New Mexico, the Tennessee BWC website states. The organization provides opportunities for regulators, academics and industry professionals to meet each other, and share perspectives and workers’ comp reform ideas.
