Bill on Fee Disputes, Death Benefits Passes

Legislation dealing with administrative appeals in workers' compensation fee disputes at the Division of Workers' Compensation, subclaims by health care providers and payment of death benefits to parents of deceased workers was sent to Gov. Rick Perry. The Texas House of Representatives agreed to Senate changes to House Bill 724 by Rep. Burt Solomons, R-Carrollton, allowing the measure to declared passed on Friday.
