Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt enacted a bill making it a felony for injured workers to fail to report any income they’re earning at the time they’re receiving temporary disability benefits.
The governor on May 7 signed HB 2236, by Rep. Stan May, R-Broken Arrow.
The measure initially proposed to criminalize failing to report a material change in income. The bill was amended to make it a felony for a worker to not report “any earned income” during the period the person is collecting TD.
