Sunz Insurance Sells Sarasota Office Building

Workers’ compensation insurer Sunz Insurance Co. has sold its office building in the International Trade Center in Sarasota, Florida, as it wraps up the move of its headquarters to Bradenton.

Sunz sold the building at 22 Sarasota Center Blvd. to Fig Tree & Grace, a school for special-needs children, the Business Observer reported. The sale price of $1.25 million was the amount Sunz paid when it bought the building in 2014, the newspaper said, citing property records.

The move to Bradenton was prompted by growth that tripled the size of Sunz’s staff last year, the company said in March.

Established in 2005, Sunz Insurance focuses on underwriting workers’ comp for professional employer organizations, staffing agencies and self-insured employers.
